Inaugurated on April 6, 1902, the Gare de Lyon is one of the most popular train stations, thanks to its remarkable architecture with its 67-meter high clock tower and its facade overlooking the Place Louis-Armand.
A witness to the Paris of the belle époque, Eugène Gallien Lalou (1854 - 1941) was a French painter and engraver of the impressionist period. His representations of Parisian urban landscapes made his reputation.
